People attended:

  • Joseph

  • Jane

  • Ankie

  • Karen

  • Thomas

  • Melinda

  • Sharon

  • Steve

  • Dorothy

  • Andrew

  • German

It's a wonderful hot pot gathering because so many people come together.  Bad thing it turned out to be a beer garden.

I sincerely apologize to and ask your forgiveness of

  • God Almighty, for I bring shame to your perfect name.

  • Melinda, Thomas, Sharon, for being a bad teen role model and not transferring the appropriate life experiences I have

  • Steve, for being a bad example of a "real" Christian who should have the merit of "self control" and "wisdom" to build up people in a Godly way

  • German, for being not sensitive and fast enough to remind you about the drinking issue

  • Janice for lying to you who haven't drunk

Though a "Christian oriented" event turned out to be dissatisfactory, I truly believe we should not give up but focus on improving and have a better gathering next time.

Never give up and lose faith in the work of God!

I was sadden by how the Christian gathering turned out too. It was not Christian-like at all and we set a very bad example in front of non-believers, such as Steve. In fact, Steve had expressed his disappointment with us Christians. He said that he can't believe even Christians do "that". Then, how is Christians different from the secular people?

Well, there's a big difference!! Christians are also only human. We sin like the secular people from time to time. For it was written in 1 John 1: 8 "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us". Yet, we are different in that we have the holy spirit to remind us that we did wrong! UNlike the non-Chritians, it is highly unlikely that we are going to do it again because the holy spirite inside us Chrisians has made us feel very guilty. We, like normal people, do commit sin but we would immediately seek to change!! "Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. " Notice the key word here is "CONTINUES". We Christians do sin, but once we had sinned, we would be reminded and we would not continue to do it again!

All we need to do is to confess our sin and seek ways to improve ourselves. God will then help us! ^^ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 john 1:9)
