1 thessalonians 5:11 -12
Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands just as we told you so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.

This verse really striked me because lately, I have been reading the bible and thinking about sharing my faith with everyone around me so much that I rarely study . However, when I read this verse, I really felt the importance of getting back of my study. THough what I am frustrated because what I am studying right now (psychology) seems to be unrelated to the bible, I am actually doing what god wills me to do for now. I heard in a sermon tape that science and Christianity does not conritade each other. Instead, Christianity is the "mother" of science. THerefore, in a way, I'm l still learning something related to god. THe more I thought about it, the more grateful I am becuase I'm learning a magnificant gift that God has given us -- the human mind! When I made the link between psycology and the bible, I feel much better! ^^

Today, I worked really diligently on my study~ I typed up all my notes and they are now very organized! I gotta start studying for my mid-term. I know that many of you are busy with mid-terms and papers. May god bless u in your study. Let's encourge each other to work hard so that we could glorify God through our study! And indeed, that's what we were made for! To glorify our dear almighty lord! When other see us, the glofy of the lord is reflected upon us so that more people will come to believe Christ!
